The project consists of the construction of the new headquarters of the United States Embassy in Tunis, a high-security complex erected on an 8-hectare site comprising five main blocks.

  • Foundation work - piles 22 meters deep.
  • Earthworks and construction of embankments of 1m height - 8,500 m³ of all-purpose material.
  • Construction work for 12,000 m² of asphalt concrete roadways.
  • Reinforced concrete works - 17,000 m³.
  • Solid slab works - 13,000 m².
  • Installation of floor and wall coverings in marble, stoneware and earthenware - 7,000 m².
  • Installation of stapled marble for wall coverings on the facade - 1,000 m².
  • Construction of the perimeter fence in reinforced concrete over a length of 1,000 meters.

Spécificités du projet:

  • The project structures were built in strict compliance with seismic, implosion, and explosion-proof technical requirements, and the work was carried out in accordance with American standards (ASTM, ACI, AASHTO, ANSI) and quality control procedures. Strict adherence to workplace accident prevention plans resulted in a zero-accident record.
